  25. To select polygons based on surface names, you just have to :
  26. .be on 'Polygon' select mode
  27. .choose 'Statistics' (press 'w')
  28. .select the surface name you want
  29. .press the '+' sign
  30.  
  31. The polygons that form that surface will be selected.
  32.  
  33. The '-' sign is to deselect polygons (in case you select ALL and want to
  34. have ALL minus 'something')
